In Tatarstan, in 2016–2018, 26 modern dairy complexes for 28 thousand dairy herds were put into operation, the investment amounted to about 9 billion rubles. Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov announced this at a meeting in the Government House on September 6.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic noted that the largest of these facilities were built in six regions of the republic. Two dairy complexes for 1800 and 2400 employees were commissioned in Mamadyshsky District at LLC APK Food Program, in Vukitov Agricultural Production Complex in Kukmorsky District and 1200 agricultural workers in the Ural Agricultural Production Complex and 1000 agricultural production units in the Ural Agricultural Production Complex, Tan "- for 1000 and in LLC Tukaevsky - for 1200 goals.
Dairy complexes were also built in the Rybno-Slobodsky district - in Kulon Agro LLC for 1000 animals, in the Almetyevsk region - in the AO named after N. Ye. Tokarlikov for 1070 animals and in the Alkeevsky district - in the Khuzangaevskoye LLC for 3 thousand animals.
Along with the construction of new cowsheds, the existing ones are being modernized in farms. “Since 2016, overhaul was carried out in more than 900 cowsheds for 141 thousand heads and 368 silage trenches were built,” said Marat Akhmetov. At the same time, the volume of capital investments in the overhaul of cowsheds amounted to 4 billion 55 million rubles, 1 billion 216 million rubles of which was allocated from the republican budget.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan has developed and is now implementing a long-term plan for the construction of large dairy complexes for 2019-2020. “In the next two years, it is planned to put into operation 24 dairy complexes for 17 thousand cows,” the minister said, adding that 16 facilities for 6.5 thousand animals will be built this year.
According to the information of the ministry, four complexes will be built in the Atninsky district, three in the Baltasinsky district, and two in Kukmorsky and Sabinsky districts. Also, new cowsheds will appear in a number of farms in the Aktanyshsky, Yutazinsky, Vysokogorsky, Tukaevsky districts. And the largest dairy complexes will be built in the Bugulminsky district, in the North Niva of Tatarstan LLC for 3.3 thousand heads and in in the Agrofirm AznakayLLC it will be for 2 thousand heads.
“The implementation of all of the above projects with an investment volume of two years 20 billion rubles will allow the republic to reach the level of production more than 2 million tons of milk per year,” said Marat Akhmetov. The republic’s dairy farming is undergoing large-scale modernization, and this industry "will be a point of growth in the coming years."
