The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan informs that in 2019, by the initiative of the Russian Union of Rural Youth, the All-Russian Popular Front launched a new project “Village. The territory of Development”. Its goal is to analyze the implementation of national projects in rural areas and the formation of new approaches to rural development. The objectives of the project include monitoring the implementation of national projects and government programs that affect the development of rural areas, developing proposals for improving the quality of life in rural areas and involving local people in the development of their localities.

On June 23, Sabantuy was celebrated at the Kazan hippodrome with a horse show. Races of ponies, trotters and horses of riding breeds took place here. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin, Ilsur Metshin, Marat Akhmetov, the head of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov and others attended the competition in the international equestrian complex Kazan.

23 of June in Kazan was the national Tatar holiday Sabantuy. The main venue of the celebration was the Birch Grove of the village of Mirny, where 11 municipal districts of Tatarstan opened their farmsteads. Each district tried to surprise the guests with its plow by its uniqueness and originality. Thus, the Tyulyachinsky district of Tatarstan brought a horse of the Tatar breed, which is the national pride of all Tatar people.

The meeting was held in the form of video conferencing with all municipal districts by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin.

On June 20, the official agro-industrial delegation of the Kingdom of Denmark, headed by the Minister-Counselor for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of the Embassy Mr. Esben Jule Bergmann Schiedt, visited the production of Fenix Ltd. and held talks with Azat Avzalov, director of the company. The meeting was accompanied by Head of the State Institution “State Agricultural Institute of Breeding in Livestock of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Products of the Republic of Tatarstan” Rishat Zaripov, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Tukayevsky Municipal District Renat Khasanov and Specialist of the Department of Investments and Innovations of RACIN JSC Adel Khismatullin.

On June 20, the livestock breeders of the Spassky District gathered for the traditional competition, which was held in Nikolsky, by the livestock farming complex Andrei Sinitsyn. This year Zulfiya Akhmadeeva from the farm of Ilshat Gabidullin was recognized as the best operator of milking machines.

Field work in the regions of the republic is under special control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. On June 21, at 10:00, the All-Russian online meeting on the implementation of the federal project "Creating a Support System for Farmers and the Development of Rural Cooperation" and the state program "Integrated Development of Rural Territories" will be held at the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. The event will be attended by the director of the Department of Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture, Maxim Borovoy, and the chairman of the Russian Union of Rural Youth, Julia Ogloblina.

The day of forage harvesting is at least a week of full wintering of livestock. “It is advisable to ensure the continuous operation of the food procurement units, and where possible - around the clock,” said First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Nikolay Titov, pointing out the importance of the ongoing campaign in the republic to prepare fodder for livestock. In Tatarstan, for successful wintering of livestock in agricultural enterprises, it is necessary to procure at least 1.8 million tons of conventional feed units, therefore, in the fields of the republic, work on forage harvesting is in full swing.

From January 1, 2020, the program of preferential mortgage in the village will begin to operate. The draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation provides the establishment of an initial fee for a rural mortgage of 10% per annum.
