On February 17, Russian Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev held a conference call on preparations for the spring field work of 2020. The first deputy minister of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov took part in the event.

For the development of the Tatar breed in agricultural enterprises of the republic for 2020, subsidies for the purchase of breeding stock were provided, the total amount is 5 million rubles. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov during a meeting of the Ministry.

On February 15, in Kukmorsky District, a meeting of agricultural leaders was held. It was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov, deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Rimma Ratnikova and deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ildar Gilmutdinov. An exhibition of crafts by the Art School and the rehabilitation center “Mercy”, Kukmor felt boots and products of agricultural enterprises of the region was organized in the lobby.

On February 14, in the Kaybitsky district, a meeting of the Council was held on the results of socio-economic development for 2019 and the tasks for 2020 with the participation of Marat Zyabbarov.

The closing ceremony of the 2nd specialized exhibition TatAgroExpo was held on February 14, which was a part of the Agro-Industrial Forum. The event was attended by more than 200 enterprises and was visited by more than 11 thousand guests and participants. Business events that touched on the development of agricultural sectors, technological modernization, and effective crop and livestock production were held.

Today, students of agricultural universities gathered at the youth forum “Rural Business - Real Opportunities and Development Prospects”. The event was held as part of the Agro-Industrial Forum with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan State Agrarian University.
