Marat Zyabbarov: It's time to change our attitude to dairy farming, we need to ensure the milk economy through high productivity
Today, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov made a work visit to the Verkhneuslonsky district. He was accompanied by the head of the district Marat Ziatdinov.
During the trip, Marat Zyabbarov got acquainted with the work of the Zarya agricultural company in the village of Yambulatovo, which is involved in animal husbandry, crop production and fruit cultivation. Here, perennial plantations are grown on 150 hectares, there is a fruit storage facility for 1000 tons. This year, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, as part of the federal program for laying perennial plantations, it is planned to plant an apple orchard on 11 hectares using intensive technology with modern equipment for drip irrigation. Now, hydro-technical facilities are being built within land reclamation programs. It is expected that full fruiting will begin in 4-5 years.
During the inspection, 100% readiness of the machine-tractor fleet of the enterprise for spring field work was noted.
Further, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the acceptance of work plans for the spring-field work of 2020 for agricultural producers of the Verkhneuslonsky district.
“The future of the district is in the introduction of new advanced technologies. It is necessary to build high-tech complexes, install feed centers, herd management programs, feeding management. The district is inferior to its neighbors: Tetyushsky, Buinsky, Apastovsky and other districts”, said Marat Zyabbarov.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that there were large undisclosed reserves at Zarya LLC (productivity in 2019 made up 3680 kg), Verkhneuslonskaya Agrofirm LLC (productivity in 2019 was 2837 kg), Agro JSC (productivity in 2019 year - 5449 kg). The issues of staffing agricultural companies are acute.
“It's time to change the attitude to dairy farming. We should not forget that we need to ensure the economy of milk precisely through high productivity, and this is possible only through organized, productive balanced feeding, with the introducing of new advanced technologies, ”the minister emphasized.
Also, Marat Zyabbarov called on to strengthen the work in the area to bring the owners of unused lands to administrative responsibility.
