The President of Tatarstan visited the agricultural fair in the agricultural factory “Kazan”
Today, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, visited the agricultural fair organized in the Kazan agricultural park.
On the trading floor were presented the products of farmers of Arsky and Kukmorsky municipal districts. Organizations such as Tatpotrebsoyuz, Yaratel poultry farm, Service-Agro, AgroInvest, Tatagroleasing, Laishevsky fish factory, Zalesny agrofirm and Maisky greenhouse plant also offered their products.
Rustam Minnikhanov talked with the villagers selling their products, estimated the range and prices of the goods, and asked about the trade. The President of Tatarstan also talked with customers, asked about the availability of the most popular categories of food products, in particular, cereals, sugar, dairy products, meat and pasta. Citizens, in turn, noted a wide range of agricultural products, positively evaluated the organization of such fairs.
Marat Zyabbarov said that today 40 tons of potatoes and vegetables, over 6 tons of beef meat, 4.3 tons of milk, 800 kg of butter, about 20 tons of granulated sugar, 8 tons of flour, 10 tons of various cereals and more than 38.6 thousand eggs were delivered to the trading platform. Traditionally, prices at the fair are lower than in retail chains, as farmers sell directly, without intermediaries and trade margins.
The President of Tatarstan was also accompanied by the head of the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan - the chief state sanitary officer of the republic Marina Patyashina, the mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the general director of Agroindustrial Park Kazan Oleg Vlasov.
