The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that in 2019, agricultural producers of the Republic of Tatarstan sent for processing more than 25.9 tons of canisters from plant protection products and 14.8 tons of big bags, which is almost 3 times higher than the previous year. Such regions as Aznakaevsky, Aksubaevsky, Almetyevsky, Arsky, Atninsky, Elabuga, Vysokogorsky, Bavlinsky, Zainsky, Laishevsky, Menzelinsky, Muslyumovsky, Nizhnekamsky, Tetyushsky, Cheremshansky actively participated in this process.

On January 21, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Dzhambulat Khatuov held a conference call on the issues of increasing soybean production in Russia. The event was attended by Rishat Khabipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "State Sort Commission" in the Republic of Tatarstan, Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" in the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatar Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture - a separate structural unit of the Federal Research Center, scientists of Kazan Agricultural University.

From February 10 to 20, the Federal State Budgetary Educational Establishment of Higher Education “Tatar Institute of Retraining of Agribusiness Personnel” together with the State Institution “Management of Aquaculture and Beekeeping of the Republic of Tatarstan” will conduct training for beekeepers by the program “Improving the efficiency of beekeeping”.

On January 21, in Arsk district, the results of livestock production for 2019 were summed up. The event was attended by the head of the Arsk district Ilshat Nuriev, the head of the district department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Gatiyatov, consultant of the livestock department of the Arsk USHiP Robert Khairutdinov, the head of the inspection of breeding services of the regional USHiP Zamkharia Zarifullina, the head of the district veterinary association, specialists in animal husbandry, and farms of the district.

A document with information about the owner, location of the apiary and the number of bee colonies will be issued to each apiary.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that the acceptance of applications for the competition of youth scientific grants and prizes of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2020 has opened in Tatarstan. Among the 20 research areas for which grants are provided, there is a nomination - agriculture, reproduction of soil fertility, adaptive-landscape farming systems; and by premiums - agriculture and nature management.

In the Almetyevsk district, a seminar-meeting on livestock farming is held weekly with the participation of the head of the district Timur Nagumanov and the head of the agricultural department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Fanis Sharafiev. The theoretical part of the seminar was about the establishment of an optimal microclimate in livestock buildings and the organization of proper and balanced feeding of cattle from the first days of life, and, as part of the practical, there were examples of successful work in rural areas.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan continues to collect applications from horticultural and vegetable gardening partnerships for the repair of internal engineering infrastructure.

In Tatarstan, agricultural producers can receive budgetary funds for the purchase of mineral fertilizers for the 2020 crop. The money will be received by farms that accumulate at least 35 kg of the active substance of mineral fertilizers per hectare of sown area.
