Farmers of Tatarstan received "milk" subsidies in the amount of 1.2 billion rubles
Tatarstan farmers were transferred 1.2 billion rubles of subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan and Russia for milk sold in January and February of this year.
In Tatarstan, more than 6% of all Russian milk is produced. Therefore, close attention is paid to the development of dairy cattle breeding. Today, the number of cattle in agricultural enterprises and among the population of the republic exceeds 1 million heads.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan calls on cattle owners to use state support to restore the livestock of dairy herds.
“In Buinsky and Tetyushsky districts, for example, funds are used to improve herds - they replace leukemia cows with healthy heifers. Over a year, the infection with leukemia virus in the regions decreased by 15 and 7%, respectively, ”said Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Lenar Garipov.
