The Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev chaired a regular meeting of the operational headquarters to monitor the situation with socially significant agricultural products and food. The participants of the event, including the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, representatives of the Federation Council, federal executive bodies, regional governing bodies of the agro-industrial complex and industry unions, discussed the situation in the agro-industrial complex and the food market in Russia.
Harvesting is in full swing in Tatarstan. During this period, the issue of ensuring fire safetyq remains relevant. Today, the most serious and dangerous problem is considered to be the occurrence of a fire in the fields sown with grain crops, since straw and heap from grain is a flammable mass.
The event was attended by the head of the region Marat Gafarov and the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Talgat Khalitov. The harvesting of grain crops is in full swing in the fields of the district. More than 70 harvesters are busy harvesting grain from early morning till the night.
In Tatarstan, the first million tons of new crop grain has been threshed since the beginning of the harvesting campaign. According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of August 4, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from 253.4 thousand hectares in the republic, which is 16.8% of the harvested area of these crops.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites on August 6 at 15:00 to take part in the webinar of the University of Talents and the Kazan State Agrarian University, on the topic "How not to stay hungry and win the world food market."
This was announced during a seminar-meeting on land reclamation, held in Kazan with the participation of Dmitry Sorokin - Director of the Land Reclamation Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that authors of at least three publications are invited to participate in the competition "My Land - Russia", aimed at highlighting the development of rural areas within one of the nominations; editorial offices of the media and higher agricultural educational institutions; bloggers, owners of publics on social networks and YouTube channels. Also, for the third year in a row, photographers can submit their works to the competition - the best sketches on the theme of rural life will become participants in a large-scale photo exhibition. To date, 16 participants from Tatarstan have already registered for the competition.
162 applicants who received state support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan within the National Project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives" this year are engaged in horse breeding and beekeeping, raise marketable fish, grow vegetables, and also work in meat and dairy farming.
