News from the fields: Young specialists of the Tukayevsky district work on high-tech harvesters
Rains do not allow the local farmers to harvest at full capacity. When the sun comes up, they rush to the fields.
This year the workers of the Vildanov farm will have to harvest grain from the area of 1251 hectares. The area of winter crops on the farm is 301 hectares, of spring wheat - 431 hectares, the rest is barley. The yield is much higher than last year - 39 centners.
“The secret of achieving this volume is the implementation of the recommendations of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan. High-tech harvesters "Tukano", "Mega", "Niva" are involved in harvesting. They thresh winter wheat directly”, says the farm manager Irek Vafin.
Young people are working at the combines. Brothers Firzar and Ilmir Shafikov are from a dynasty of farmers. Their father Ilham and older brother Fanzar work in the agricultural industry.
20-year-old machine operator Ilmir Shafikov recently got married. In order to support a promising worker, the farm provided him with an apartment.
“I plan to make repairs in the apartment with the money received during the cleaning,” says Ilmir.
Despite the fact that the men are young, they have enough experience. Its not their first year at harvest. For example, the 19-year-old Rinat Gatiyatullin drives the Mega combine purchased this year. For him, this is the seventh season.
Young employees rely on mentors who have devoted their entire lives to working in the countryside. One of them is Ildar Tagirov. His work experience is 25 years. Today he, together with Albert Agliev, delivers grain from the field to the granary. And he was one of the first to go out into the field - he mowed 60 hectares of winter crops using a MacDon combine.
“Irreplaceable man of the economy. No matter what equipment he takes, he always conscientiously fulfills the task, ”says the head of the farm Gazinur Vildanov.
A baler drives into the field after the combines. Razap Gubaidullin and Vladimir Vinokurov are packing straw. Upon completion of this work, they, together with Farzar Shafikov, carry out the cultivation of the land for winter sowing. 505 hectares are already ready. “In the future, we will increase the area of winter crops,” says Irek Vafin.
Those who work in the field are well cared for: they receive hot food and all sanitary and fire safety standards are observed.
Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that this year Tatarstan will host a republican competition of combine operators for a grant from the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2019, 19 machine operators of the region won the presidential prize.
According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, today more than 6.62 thousand hectares of area have been harvested in the Tukayevsky region, 27.6 thousand tons of grain have been threshed, the yield in the region is 41.7 centners. In total, more than 21 thousand tons of grain have already been delivered to the barns of the region. There are 87 harvesters working on the farm fields. The productivity reaches 1 thousand hectares per day. The average load for each harvester is about 15 hectares.
