The Russian Ministry of Agriculture held a regular meeting of the operational headquarters, at which they considered the issues of conducting seasonal field work, bringing state support to farmers, as well as the work of the agro-industrial complex in flood conditions, which affected a number of regions of the country. The event, which was attended by representatives of federal departments and heads of regional management bodies of the agro-industrial complex, was chaired by the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev.

The competition “Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” was established in accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan as a regional stage of the All-Russian competition of the Program “100 Best Products of Russia”.
On March 16, traditional agricultural fairs began in the republic at 14 sites in the city of Kazan, 2 sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Zelenodolsk region, 3 sites in Nizhnekamsk and with varying frequency in municipal areas.
On the eve of World Occupational Safety and Health Day, which is celebrated annually on April 28, at the premises of Surnai LLC in the Baltasinsky municipal district, the district committee of the trade union of agricultural workers organized a seminar for specialists and authorized persons in occupational safety and health, chairmen of primary trade union organizations of the agro-industrial complex of the region.
Last week, spring field work began in the republic. Today, farmers from 29 municipal districts are working in the fields: winter and perennial grasses are being fertilized with mineral fertilizers, and harrowing has begun.
