On April 11, a round table with international participation “Strategy for the development of cyclical territories, business models” was held at the Kazan Innovation University named after V.G. Timiryazev.
The round table was attended by experts, scientists, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the development of a circular economy and ecology, organic fertilizers of Samarkand, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, representatives of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Sibur LLC, the sector development of beekeeping and aquaculture of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the presentations, emphasis was placed on the need to increase the use of industrial waste - secondary resources and obtain secondary raw materials from them for further use in the national economy. Issues of regulating waste disposal approaches, the work of regional operators to collect secondary resources, and the scientific approach of the circular economy were also discussed as well as the life cycle of goods, integrated development of territories from the perspective of energy efficiency and the Green House project.
This platform - a round table - is a promising format for joint discussion, solving the problem of recycling and using production waste, and developing a circular economy for both the state and the business community of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation.
