Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov paid a working visit to the Muslyumovsky municipal district, where he held a zonal seminar-meeting on the topic “Increasing the efficiency of livestock production through the introduction of digitalization and modern technologies.”

It was also attended by Deputy Minister Gelyus Bayazitov, head of the Muslyumovsky municipal district Albert Khuzin, chiefs, consultants on livestock farming, chiefs of the Union of Right Forces, heads of investment companies, managers and livestock specialists of farms.

“Traditionally, in spring and autumn we hold zonal seminar-meetings, where we summarize the development of livestock sectors and discuss current issues of today,” noted Marat Zyabbarov.

The republic has begun spring field work in almost all regions. To date, fertilizing has been carried out on 16% of the areas; harrowing has begun selectively on only 1%. We started sowing spring crops in 3 districts on an area of 280 hectares, these are in the Aksubaevsky, Drozhzhanovsky and Novosheshminsky districts.

He also noted that it is necessary to stabilize the livestock population and prevent further decline. Therefore, it is necessary to determine growth points for the restoration of livestock in the republic. And take special control over the raising of cows.

Today, 187 farms in the republic work with digital systems, where 166 thousand cows are kept, which is 78% of the milking livestock of agricultural enterprises. Milk production from this dairy herd is 82%.

Next, Gelyus Bayazitov made a report; he noted that 433 thousand tons of milk were produced, with an increase of 8% compared to last year. In the ranking of regions in terms of milk production volumes, the republic is in 1st place. The average daily milk yield per cow is 22.5 kg, 1.5 kg more than in 2023, 101 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat were produced.

As of April 1, the number of cattle, poultry, sheep and goats decreased compared to last year. At the same time, we have positive dynamics in the number of pigs and horses, there is an increase of 1%.

In terms of the number of cows, most districts are operating at the same level or with an increase in the milking herd compared to last year.

Every year the demand for sheep and horse breeding products increases. To stimulate the development of farms, starting this year, changes have been made to the Agrostartup grant support program for beginning farmers. “These 2 areas are now priorities, points are awarded as in dairy farming. Now the resolution is being approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, the selection will be announced at the end of April. I ask you to involve farmers in this program as much as possible,” noted Gelyus Bayazitov.

On the territory of the Tukaevsky, Nizhnekamsky and Aktanysh municipal districts, the largest poultry meat producer in the Republic, Chelny-Broiler, conducts its production activities, on whose production activities the production indicators of the republic largely depend.

“Due to the problems with bird flu in many regions and republics, the poultry industry is under special control of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation,” he emphasized.

One of the important tools for the further development of the livestock industry is the introduction of lean production, which will improve the efficiency of the enterprise without any additional large investments.

At the end of the seminar, leaders in livestock farming were awarded.
