Today, the Tatarstan regional branch of the United Russia party held its "There Are Results!" reporting and program forum at the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Traditional agricultural fairs resumed in the republic on March 14 at 14 sites in Kazan, two in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Zelenodolsk district, three in the Nizhnekamsk district, and at varying intervals in municipal districts.

Recently, members of the Russian Agricultural Workers' Union gathered for iftar. These included people who had lived through the wars in Afghanistan and Chechnya, families of those currently participating in the Special Military Operation (SMO), and volunteers supporting the soldiers.

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting to discuss livestock production results for the first two months of this year. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Gelyus Bayazitov and Deputy Head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Gabdulkhak Motygullin. Also present were Ministry employees, livestock consultants, heads of selection and breeding services of municipal agricultural and food departments, and other relevant officials.

The United Nations has declared 2026 the International Year of Women Farmers. This is a time when the world turns its gaze to those who toil the land every day, from dawn to dusk, to ensure that there is bread on our tables and warmth and comfort in our homes.

Today, a joint meeting of the Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy and the Committee's Expert Council was held in the State Council. At the meeting, parliamentarians discussed the implementation of the state program for agricultural development and regulation of agricultural produce, raw materials, and food markets, as well as a draft law amending certain articles of the Republic's Environmental Code.

A delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, is on a working visit to the People's Republic of China.

Today, the Ministry held a meeting of the national headquarters for preventing the entry and spread of contagious, including highly dangerous, animal diseases into the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Last week, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Gelyus Bayazitov paid a working visit to the Tatar branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography.
