A delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, is on a working visit to the People's Republic of China.
In Yantai, Shandong Province, Marat Zyabbarov toured the pea processing facilities of Shandong Jianyuan Bioengineering Co., Ltd. The company specializes in research, development, production, and sales of pea protein, starch, and dietary fiber. Its products are widely used in the production of plant-based meat, alternative dairy products, dietary supplements, bakery products, and other industries.
Then, in Qingdao, Shandong Province, the minister visited a pea warehouse and processing plant. Qingdao is home to Northern China's largest port and a demonstration zone for the China-SCO regional trade and economic cooperation. The city offers a global logistics network and a simplified trade regime, and its surrounding area is home to approximately 30 factories cleaning, sorting, and shelling peas for the food and feed industries nationwide.
Today, Marat Zyabbarov visited Qingdao KaiTou Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. They provide comprehensive services across the agricultural and forestry supply chain, including product procurement, agency purchasing, trade finance, industrial park operations, and smart warehousing and logistics services.
Then, the minister participated in talks with pea processing companies and soybean equipment manufacturers from Qingdao. The meeting discussed cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Qingdao's agro-industrial enterprises, as well as prospects for joint projects. Marat Zyabbarov noted the many opportunities for cooperation in support of the national Export project.
