Despite it being a weekday, traditional agricultural fairs were held in Tatarstan. Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, inspected several sites in Kazan. He spoke with vendors and buyers and listened to the residents' concerns.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov reported on the progress of the industrial crop harvest, fallow cultivation, and the condition of winter crops at a meeting today at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, the Ministry held a meeting of the national headquarters for the prevention of the entry and spread of contagious, including particularly dangerous, animal diseases into the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Tatarstan's agricultural scientists were among the laureates of the Global Technical Recognition Ceremony organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The event took place in Rome in October 2025 to celebrate the organization's 80th anniversary. The goal of the event was to disseminate best practices and successful solutions in land, soil, and water resource management to achieve sustainable agricultural development and improve food security.

A Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan was signed today in Kazan.

The All-Russian "I'm in Agro" Competition, a large-scale project of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Rosmolodezh, Rosselkhozbank, and the Russian Union of Youth, has opened at the Timiryazev Center in Moscow. This project aims to create conditions for youth self-fulfillment, engage them in the socioeconomic development of small territories, and enhance the appeal of the rural lifestyle. Registration is open until December 1, 2025.

Despite November 1 being declared a workday, traditional agricultural fairs will take place this Saturday at their usual locations. On Sunday, the fair will be held in Kazan at the intersection of Belomorskaya and Gudovantseva Streets.

From February 11 to 13, the Kazan Expo IEC will host the Kazan Agro 2026 exhibition. The event will bring together over 300 companies and over 12,000 specialists representing businesses, farms, research centers, and government agencies from the agro-industrial complex of the Volga region.

Today, the Ministry held a meeting to review the development of the livestock sector over the past nine months. The meeting was chaired by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by Gelyus Bayazitov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; Timur Galeev, Head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan; Rashid Akhmetov, Director of the State Budgetary Institution "Competence Center for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan"; heads of industry departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; heads of municipal districts; heads of investment companies; and heads of agricultural departments in municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

As of October 23, 2025, specialists from the Tatarstan branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "AIC Quality Control Center" confirmed the quality and safety of 34,800 tons of oilseed grain intended for export.
