Traditional agricultural fairs resumed in the Republic of Tatarstan on September 13. Fourteen venues were organized for them in Kazan, two each in Naberezhnye Chelny, Zelenodolsk, and Nizhnekamsk, and one in the village of Kamskiye Polyany in the Nizhnekamsk District.

Grain harvesting is underway in all districts; 4.15 million tons of grain have been harvested to date, with an average yield of 38.7 centners per hectare. Over the past day, 50,000 tons of agricultural crops were harvested across the Republic of Tatarstan.

Kazan hosted the international scientific and practical conference "Innovative Solutions to Current Issues of Biological, Toxicological, and Radiation Safety for the Agro-Industrial Complex," dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Federal Center for Toxicological, Radiation, and Biological Safety.

Today, a seminar on soybean cultivation and development in the Republic of Tatarstan, "Increasing Soybean Productivity: Problems and Solutions," was held at the experimental base of the Tatar Research Institute of Agriculture. The event was attended by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; Dmitry Yashin, Deputy Minister; Aitugan Khaziev, Head of the Tatar Research Institute of Agriculture; Raila Kalimullina, General Director of JSC Tatagrokhimservice; and farm managers and agronomists from Tatarstan.

The 40th specialized exhibition and forum "Menovoy Dvor" (Exchange Yard) opened today in Orenburg. It will run through September 12 and bring together over 130 companies from 15 regions of Russia. The event is organized by the Government of the Orenburg Region and the Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Food, and Processing Industry of the Orenburg Region.

ZMK produced 107 million packages of products in the first half of the year, with an increase of 7% compared to the first half of last year.

Applications for the third season of the all-Russian "School AgroStartup" competition are now open. Schoolchildren can submit a business project idea in any of four categories by September 30. Project participants develop and present their idea using a methodology similar to how entrepreneurs pitch their startup ideas to investors.

Today, a working meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Karakalpakstan was held at the Ministry, chaired by Rustem Gainullov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
