Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov visited the Alkeyevsky and Alekseevsky municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan on a working visit.
In the Alkeyevsky municipal district, Marat Zyabbarov inspected the work of consumer societies and cooperatives. He visited a slaughterhouse and procurement base. The facility houses a warehouse for receiving wool, raw hides, and raw materials, ensuring a comprehensive approach to the procurement service.
One of the key areas of focus was the meat processing facility. It produces 16 types of semi-finished products according to Halal standards, and 46.4 tons of semi-finished products have been produced in the first 11 months of this year.
Next, in the Alekseevsky Municipal District, the minister visited the new feed center of the Rodina collective farm, with a daily production capacity of 150 tons. He noted that the construction of feed centers is a priority for the republic. Currently, 58 feed centers operate in 24 municipal districts, serving over 215,000 head of cattle.
Also in the Alekseyevskoye urban-type settlement, Marat Zyabbarov visited an oil extraction plant with a daily production capacity of up to 60 tons of oil and 30 tons of husks. 150 tons of raw materials are processed here daily.
During his working visit, the minister inspected the production facilities of the Kolos agricultural consumer production and marketing cooperative, which produces meat and bakery products from locally sourced raw materials, as well as lemonade. A republic-wide seminar on consumer cooperative development, "Results of Consumer Cooperative Organizations' Activities for the First Eleven Months of 2025 and Objectives for 2026," was held in the urban-type settlement of Alekseyevskoye.
Marat Zyabbarov noted that, starting in 2026, the approaches to state support for farmers and cooperatives with federal participation will change. "Grants are provided for peasant farms operating for one year or more, with a maximum grant size of 5 million to 30 million rubles, depending on the amount of their own investment in the project," he said.
Also provided are a grant for participants in a special military operation, subsidies for peasant farms to reimburse a part of their costs, a grant for the development of processing for agricultural consumer cooperatives, and grants for the establishment of small rural bakeries.
The minister emphasized that grants for peasant farms and cooperatives will be allocated on a one-time basis. "I request that you identify potential program participants now and support them in submitting applications, allocating land plots, and providing vacant livestock facilities," added Marat Zyabbarov.
Tatar consumer society board chairman Rashat Shaimardanov reported on the performance of consumer societies and cooperatives. Over the first 11 months of 2025, the total volume of services provided to the republic's population increased by 10%, reaching 23 billion rubles. Procurement turnover amounted to 11.9 billion rubles, a 10% increase compared to the same period last year. Retail turnover exceeded 5 billion rubles, a 7% increase compared to the same period last year.
He noted that the key to the successful development of consumer cooperatives is the desire and commitment to work, not just the availability of material resources. "It is this desire that becomes the foundation for the flourishing of the cooperative movement," said Rashat Shaimardanov.
According to him, in 2026, special attention will be paid to holding the International Forum of Consumer Cooperatives "Youth of Cooperatives: Pooling Resources for Industry Development," as well as celebrating the 110th anniversary of the founding of the republic's consumer cooperatives, which will take place from July 8 to 10.
