Today, the awards ceremony for the sixth cohort of the "Farmer's School" educational project took place at the Kazan State Agrarian University. The event was attended by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; Ilshat Nuriyev, Acting Rector of the Kazan State Agrarian University; and Lyalya Kudermetova, Director of the Tatarstan Regional Branch of the Russian Agricultural Bank.
"The Republic of Tatarstan is a regular participant in this project. Over the years, 214 graduates have successfully presented their business projects and are actively developing their farms. "I would like to point out that the Farmer's School program includes not only beginning farmers but also those with established production facilities. This is particularly important, as ongoing training will enable them to more effectively manage their resources to implement their plans," noted Marat Zyabbarov.
According to the minister, this year's training focused on popular and promising areas: "Development of Agricultural Cooperation" and "Animal Husbandry." Particular attention was paid to engaging participants from the agricultural sector, who saw the training as an opportunity to start their own businesses and acquire the knowledge necessary for running a business, he emphasized.
The Farmer's School program is more than just an intensive theoretical and practical course offered by Rosselkhozbank's educational project. This socially oriented program opens broad horizons for further development and fulfills a crucial mission: preserving villages, rural traditions, and customs. "This also includes new formats for engaging with the audience, such as the first live broadcast—Tatarstan pioneered this—on the Russian Agricultural Bank's Svoe Media digital platform, where Tatarstan graduates shared their educational experiences, results, and future plans with the entire country," noted Lyalya Kudermetova.
Today, 35 students received diplomas for successfully completing the "Farmer's School" professional retraining program.
