This past weekend, traditional agricultural fairs were held in the Republic of Tatarstan at venues in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Zelenodolsk, Nizhnekamsk, and Kamskiye Polyany in the Nizhnekamsk District.

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting of the Commission on Compliance with Official Conduct Requirements for Civil Servants and Conflict of Interest Resolution, chaired by Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In St. Petersburg, a delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, participated in the 8th International Fishery Forum and the Fish Industry, Seafood, and Technology Exhibition (Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2025).

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a ceremony honoring William Khamitov, a veteran of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The number of tests of this type of grain at the branch increased by 70%, reaching 5,500 compared to 3,200 last year.

Last weekend, the final round of the 17th national competition for young combine operators, "Glorifying the Working Man," was held at the Sarmanovsky District Community Center. The event was attended by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Ilshat Nuriyev, Acting Rector of the Kazan State Agricultural University.

In the Republic of Tatarstan, 42,000 hectares of sugar beet have been harvested to date, 79% of the planned harvest. Over 2 million tons of root crops have been harvested, with an average yield of 490 centners per hectare. Sugar factories have harvested 667,000 tons, processed 593,000 tons of raw materials, and produced 82,000 tons of sugar.

Today, Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov delivered his Speech to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2026. The Speech was delivered at the S. Saidashev State Grand Concert Hall in Kazan during the 14th session of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the 7th convocation.
