The Palace of Farmers is a building in the historical center of the city, located on Palace Square near the northern wall of the Kazan Kremlin and the Kazanka River embankment. It is one of the city's most famous modern landmarks.
With its unique exterior, the building is unique in Russia. Its architectural style incorporates elements of Empire and Classicism, making it categorized as eclectic. It consists of two symmetrical blocks and a dome. The centerpiece of the composition is the building's highlight: a bronze tree placed within an arch. The tree is 20 meters tall and symbolizes the fertility and prosperity of the Kazan lands.
