On October 5, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the 1st Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan in the national sport “Audarysh” a wrestling on Tatar horses took place. The event was held on the territory of the horse yard "Almakai" (near the village of Upper Karan). The competition was attended by wrestlers from Tukaevsky, Aznakaevsky, Aktanyshsky, Yutazinsky, Bugulminsky, Sabinsky, Rybno-Slobodsky and Leninogorsky municipal regions.

The story of how the Tatar breed of horses was revived in the republic can be found in the book, published with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Tatar language.

Equestrian competitions dedicated to the Horse Day were held in the village of Novy Kirlay, Arsk district of Tatarstan. Athletes from all over the republic took part in races at a distance of 40, 80 and 120 kilometers. By the way, this year for the first time horses of the Tatar breed were presented at the competitions.

On September 14, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, equestrian competitions dedicated to the “Horse Day” will be held in the village of Novy Kirlay of the Arsk region of Tatarstan. The grand opening of the event is at 11 a.m.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan pays great attention to the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the countryside. Today, in every district there are people who have opened their own business and successfully developed it. One of these is the head of KFH Fanis Bakirov from the village of Akhmetyevo, Alkeevskiy district, who chose for himself not just business, but the cause of his whole life - the revival of the Tatar breed of horses.

On May 18, horse races took place on the territory of the Almakay horseyard “Baiga”. The head of the Leninogorsk district, the mayor of the city of Leninogorsk Ryagat Khusainov made a welcoming speech. Among the guests of honor was Nazip Hazipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

It was reported today in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan in summary of the work of the livestock industry in the first quarter of 2019. The event was chaired by Deputy Minister Nazip Hazipov. The meeting was also attended by consultants on animal husbandry, heads of breeding services of agricultural and food departments in municipal districts, specialists from the Main State Agricultural Management of Breeding Animal Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads and specialists of a number of agricultural organizations.

An expert working group under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture prepared a draft Strategy for the Development of Horse Breeding of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025. The project provides a systematic solution of issues of domestic horse breeding development , its resource and financial support.

The Tatar horse breed is included in the Federal State Register as a selective achievement.
