Alga: 400 horses took part in the flash mob

17 March 2021, Wednesday

The event took place in the Leninogorsk region of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In 2015, Farit Nabiullin, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, purchased 54 heads of Tatar horses. Today his horse yard is one of the largest in the republic.

The farmer taught them not only to move correctly, but also instilled in them patriotism. Thus, 400 horses of the Tatar and other breeds became Internet stars, lining up in the word "ALGA" - forward (translated from the Tatar language).

“First, they cleared the snow on the field with a tractor, and drew letters. Every day the herd was released for a walk. A week before the flash mob, the horses were taught to eat oats, scattering it in letters, they got up right. It took 10 sacks of oats for 400 horses. Oats is their favorite food”, said the head of the farm Samat Nabiullin.

And the horses did not mind. For participating in the flash mob, they received a delicious oats bonus.

“The republic is facing the task of promoting our Tatar horse breed. We thought for a long time how this could be shown. It was necessary to make it in Tatar style. Therefore, our horses and the style must be preserved. Therefore, we decided to do it in a creative way, showing all the strength and power of our horses, ”says farmer Farid Nabiullin.

As a reminder, on February 6, 2019, a patent for horses of the Tatar breed was registered in the state register of protected breeding achievements. The phenomenal endurance of Tatar horses, capable of being in continuous motion for 7-8 hours, and covering 100-120 km of distance, is also noted by Russian hippological science, speaking also of high fertility, resistance to heat and cold. Horses of the Tatar breed have become a real property of the Republic of Tatarstan.

You can read more about this in the book "Tatars atlars", published with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Tatar language. It describes the main breed characteristics of Tatar horses: exterior, color, constitution, productive qualities and endurance.
