Rustam Minnikhanov visited Cheremshan and Nurlat municipal districts
Today, President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to the Cheremshan and Nurlat municipal districts. He was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov. During the visit to the Cheremshan district, they got acquainted with pace of the harvesting campaign and visited the new Bio Agro mortar complex.
The meeting with representatives of the agro-industrial sector took place near the village of Nizhnyaya Karmalka. The leadership of the republic was informed about the progress of the harvesting. So, in the Cheremshansky district, the farmland is 87.5 thousand hectares, including 72 thousand hectares of arable land. As of today, 3.1 thousand hectares have been harvested, a total of 5.6 thousand tons of grain of the new crop have been collected. The yield is 18 kg / ha.
During the conversation, the weather conditions and preparation of feed for farms were discussed. Today, 3.8 thousand hectares of perennial grasses have been mown in the district. 10.3 thousand tons of hay and 4.6 thousand tons of haylage were harvested. The President called on the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic, together with the heads of districts, to keep this issue under special control, and, if necessary, to buy feed in neighboring regions.
After that, Rustam Minnikhanov and Marat Zyabbarov visited the Bio Agro mortar unit. The stationary mortar complex is designed for water treatment during work on feeding crops and protecting against pests, diseases, weeds.
Rustam Minnikhanov was informed that this is one of the most effective methods against drought. Thanks to the solution complex, three-fold leaf processing, nutrition together with plant protection products were carried out on grain and leguminous crops of the district.
In the Nurlatsky district, a meeting with farmers was held at the barley field of the agricultural firm "Yuzhnaya".
"The district has started harvesting," confirmed the Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov. The average yield in the district, as well as throughout the republic, is 18-20 quintals per hectare. In general, 84 combine harvesters have been involved in harvesting operations.
