Issues of high productivity of animals were discussed in Tetyushsky district
In the Tetyushsky district, a zonal seminar-meeting "High-quality feed and a solid feed base is the key to high productivity of animals" was held. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, the head of the Tetyushsky district Ramis Safiullov, the deputy head of the State Budgetary Institution of the State Agricultural Administration of Livestock Management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Gelus Bayazitov and other responsible persons.
At the seminar, the participants discussed the issues of milk production, dairy farming culture, modern technology for the procurement of high-quality feed, its impact on animal productivity, and others.
Lenar Garipov made an analysis of the development of livestock industries in the republic for the 1st quarter of this year.
“For the 1st quarter, 349 thousand tons of milk were produced in the republic (103% by 2020). Agricultural enterprises raised 102 thousand tons of livestock and poultry (98% to last year). For the 1st quarter of 2021, 41.6 thousand tons of milk were produced in 8 districts of the Tetyushsky zone (11.9% of the Republic of Tatarstan, which is 0.4% less than the level of 2020). In terms of the livestock of cattle from 8 districts of this zone, only two districts have a positive trend. These are Tetyushsky and Buinsky districts. A positive trend in the restoration of livestock is observed in Drozhzhanovsky (plus 277 heads by the beginning of the year) and in Apastovsky districts (plus 67 heads), ”he said.
During his speech, the Deputy Minister also spoke about the state of the industry of pig breeding, sheep breeding, reproduction and production of cattle meat.
“The basis of effective reproduction is accounting. Today, there are many tools that facilitate the work of reproduction specialists, as well as enable the managers to timely assess the effectiveness of their work. It helps to take timely measures to improve the situation, ”he said.
Gelus Bayazitov spoke about the pace of digitalization of dairy farming in the regions of the republic.
The practical part of the seminar was held at the dairy farm"Kolos". The participants of the seminar got acquainted with the conditions of keeping and feeding the animals, visited the milking parlor and the maternity ward, examined the silage and haylage trench.
For the participants of the meeting, an exhibition of forage harvesting equipment, veterinary machines providing services, as well as advanced technologies in animal husbandry was organized on the territory of the agricultural company.
