Tatarstan farmers learnt 5 steps to success in milk production
On December 17, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Union of Dairy Producers of Tatarstan held a round table on the theme: “5 steps to success in milk production”. The event was held at the Kargopol livestock complex in the Alkeevsky district (JSC "Agroholding Red East") with the participation of leading experts of dairy cattle breeding.
The event was attended by over 60 people, including the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, General Director of TATMOLSOYUZ Denis Pirogov, heads of milk processing enterprises of Kazan Dairy Plant LLC, Kasymovsky Dairy Plant LLC, Vysokogorsky Dairy Plant LLC , company DeLaval JSC, heads and specialists in livestock breeding of agricultural enterprises and regional agricultural administrations.
The purpose of the meeting was to conduct a direct dialogue between industry participants and representatives of the executive branch, exchange of experience, study the best world practices in terms of technology, business organization and improving the efficiency of enterprises.
At the event, issues of lean production, modern requirements for the quality of raw milk, critical feeding points and methods for controlling effective diets, comprehensive service maintenance of equipment on a dairy farm, and milking technology were announced.
The participants also discussed the preliminary results of the work of the Union of Dairy Producers of Tatarstan for 2019 and the main points of the organization’s work program for 2020-2021, which include the development of regional brands of dairy products within the country and abroad, the popularization of consumption of natural products (milk), implementation programs to improve the quality and safety of raw milk and finished products, monitoring the raw milk market, etc. Denis Pirogov also made a presentation on the tools for implementing lean production on a dairy farm and encouraged everyone to take an active part in the work of the Union.
According to the approved schedule, the next round table will be held on December 20, 2019 at Ak Bars Pestretsi LLC in the village of Tat. Khodyashevo, Pestrechinsky district of Tatarstan.
