On January 30, a delegation of Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Tatarstan headed by Marat Akhmetov visited the research laboratories of Kazan University to identify potential partnership projects between the university and the ministry.

On February 12-13, 2019, the First All-Russian Olympiad of Executive Directors of Agricultural Consumer Cooperatives 2019 will take place in Kazan. “The center of competence for the development of agricultural cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan” organizes it within the framework of the annual board of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Tatarstan.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Tatarstan informs that an interregional exhibition-forum "Potato-2019" will be held from February 28 to March 1 in Chuvash Republic (Cheboksary). The event is held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. More than 20 regions of our country will take part in it.

A delegation consisting of heads of several farms visited Belarus last week in order to exchange the experience. It was headed by Renat Gatiyatov, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of Arsky District.

The biggest volume of milk sold per day among the regions of Russia is in Republic of Tatarstan. 3.1 thousand tons of production was sold over there. The Krasnodar Territory took the second place by this indicator - 2.5 thousand tons, the Voronezh Region -1.7 thousand tons.

This weekend a fun winter festival SunnyFest was held  by Agrarian Youth Association of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Executive Committee of Mamadyshsky district. The festival combined creativity with a traditional sleigh rides from the snowy mountains.
