The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the prospects for the cultivation of potatoes and vegetables on the Dutch technology

On April 17, at the Palace of Farmers, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov met with the head of the Dutch company APH GROUP Wits Oosterban on the cultivation of potatoes and vegetables on Dutch technology.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Ministers Ildus Gabdrakhmanov and Talgat Tagirzyanov, General Director of Tatagrolizing JSC Azat Ziganshin, General Director of Service-Agro LLC Gabdelhai Karimov, representative of the Dutch company APH GROUP in Russia Vasily Prokofiev and other responsible persons.

It should be noted that Tatarstan and the Netherlands have been cooperating in the field of agriculture for many years. Currently, dozens of companies in the republic work with Dutch business structures. Among them are Kamsky Bacon LLC, Chelny Broiler LLC, Krasny Vostok Agro Management Company LLC, Service Agro LLC and others. Also companies of the Netherlands supply strawberry seedlings, new varieties of potatoes and vegetable seeds to agricultural enterprises of Tatarstan.

During a recent trip to the Kingdom of the Netherlands as part of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Akhmetov studied the technological schemes of the wholesale distribution center, inspected the packaging of products and the integrated storage system of a large assortment of vegetables, which allows us to supply high quality products to supermarkets and efficiently use resources, including electricity saving.

Work on the introduction in Tatarstan of highly efficient systems of growing, packaging and storing vegetable products through the “From Field to Counter” system has continued. The parties reviewed a number of projects that are planned to be implemented on the basis of the Narmonka agricultural company this year.

“The introduction of efficient and environmentally friendly vegetable storage systems in the country is a promising direction,” said Marat Akhmetov.

Also during the meeting, it was decided to organize a training seminar on ecological farming technologies of Dutch agricultural producers for agricultural producers in Tatarstan.
