Today, the opening of the First All-Russian Forum of Breeders and Seed Growers "Russian Field - 2024" took place on the territory of the Agrobiotechnopark of the Kazan State Agrarian University. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister Dmitry Yashin, General Director of JSC Shchyolkovo Agrokhim Salis Karakotov, Chairman of the Council of the National Seed Alliance Igor Lobach, Rector of the Kazan State Agrarian University Airat Valiev and Managing Partner of the breeding and seed company RUSEED Mark Gekht.

Today, the Ministry held a meeting with a delegation from Iran chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov, heads of departments and other officials.

Today, the research agency "PromRating" together with the agroholding "Chistopolye" presented the results of a sociological study in the field of perception of residents of large cities of Tatarstan aspects of the agricultural sector and food production in the region. According to it, only 4.9% of residents of large cities of Tatarstan know that the republic provides itself with basic products by more than 100%.
