The winners and runners-up of the All-Russian "Best in Profession" competition were honored at the State Kremlin Palace. Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut awarded 12 specialists who excelled in four key agricultural categories: Agronomist, Vegetable Grower, Animal Husbandry Technician, and Machine Operator.
This large-scale professional skills competition, organized by the Ministry of Labor, attracted participants from over a thousand enterprises representing 79 regions of the country. The winners of the federal stages received substantial financial support: 1 million rubles for first place, 500,000 rubles for second place, and 300,000 rubles for third place.
"For the first time, we included four agricultural categories in this year's competition. This represents only a fraction of the professional spectrum of the agricultural sector, but today's winners demonstrated exceptional skill. It is especially valuable that many of them continue family traditions. "I thank you for your invaluable contribution to food security and wish you continued professional achievements," Oksana Lut emphasized.
Ruzil Zakiev from Tatarstan won the "Agronomist" category and plans to invest the prize money in his own farm.
Rail Shakirzyanov from the Arsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan also ranked among the top three vegetable growers in the country. The federal stage of the "Best in Profession" competition in the "Vegetable Grower" category was organized as part of the regional "Working Person" project, which is part of the national "Personnel" project.
