A new modern agricultural classroom has opened at the V.V. Karpov Lyceum in the village of Osinovo, Zelenodolsk Municipal District. The investor was the I.G. Ganiev Greenhouse Complex "Maisky," where most of the parents of the lyceum's students work.
The opening ceremony was attended by First Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov, Head of the Zelenodolsk District Mikhail Afanasyev, and General Director of "Maisky Greenhouse Complex" LLC Ruslan Ganiev.
"The opening of each agricultural classroom is the result of the collaborative work of teachers, agricultural enterprises, and, of course, the significant support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan. We are grateful to the investors for their support of the project and express special gratitude to the teachers of the agricultural classrooms, whose contribution to the development of agricultural education will be encouraged. "Together, we are creating conditions for children to see the prospects of working in agriculture and dedicating their lives to this noble profession," noted Lenar Garipov.
The new agricultural classroom is part of the federal project "Personnel in the Agricultural Sector" of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security." It will train students in the "Agroengineering" program in grades 7 and 10, and students in grades 2–5 will study the fundamentals of agricultural science as an elective.
Four classrooms have been equipped for the agricultural classrooms, and specialized equipment has been purchased for studying soil characteristics, analyzing biodiversity, and monitoring the state of the territory using drones.
