In 2015, 40.2 million rubles are allocated from the federal budget to this sphere in the Republic of Tatarstan.

In Tatarstan, for the 1st quarter of the current year, products amounting to 501.6 million rubles and produced by local consumers’ associations were brought to shops in villages, which is 139% in comparison with the last year level, announced “Tatpotrebsoyuz”. 5,500 tons of bakery (103% in comparison with 2014), 92 tons of sausage products, 372 tons of confectionary (92%), 164 tons of pats (115%), 58,700 deca-liters of soft drinks (129%) were brought to shops in villages. 174 tons of fish (179%) were processed.

It was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhemtov at the republican session in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan today.

On April 9-10 2015 the 8th session of Russian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation takes place in Kazan. The Russian party of the Commission is headed by the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolai Fedorov, from Tatarstan the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov joins the Commission, the Hungarian party is presented by the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Sijyarto.
