Veterans of Agriculture were praised in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today veterans of agriculture were congratulated to the International Day of Older Persons in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic of Tatarstan.

Nikolai Titov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, gave an opening speech.

“We appreciate your labour and great contribution to the development of agriculture. You are our history and we are proud of it! We are thankful to you for your advice, wisdom and life experience”, said First Deputy Minister.

Then he informed the guests about the foundation of a museum of Tatarstan agriculture and asked for help to search for relevant information and exhibits.

Nikolai Titov wished the veterans to be healthy and wealthy. “Let your relatives and friends be always with you, be happy!”, he concluded.

Then Chairwoman of the Tatarstan AIC Workers’ Union Committee, Farida Garifullina, congratulated the guests.

She thanked the veterans for their labor for the sake of the country, support of the young generation and wished them to be healthy, wealthy and to live a long happy life.

The veterans remembered their working days, interest events and thanked the administration of the ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan for the constant support and help.

At the meeting a film about the history of the ministry, including pre-war, war and post-war days, was shown to the veterans.
