The participants of the event watched a movie about the history of the Ministry, including pre-war, war and post-war times.
On May 27 1920 Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was founded and on September 26 1920 the People’s Commissariat for Agriculture was established. The first people’s commissar for agriculture became Yunus Validov.
In 1946 the People’s Commissariat for Agriculture was renamed into the Ministry of Agriculture.
The history of Russian and Tatarstan agriculture is not simple.
Today Tatarstan AIC is one of the most well developed in the Russian Federation.
“Those were hard times, when people had to survive and provide the population of the republic and Russia with agricultural products. Those were self-sacrificing people, who did not have modern machinery and equipment, but they did their best”, - shared his impressions Marat Akhmetov, having watched the movie.
