Today, the hero of our column “People of Labor” is Zakharov Nikolai Ivanovich. He was born on September 20, 1929 in the village of Old Chelny of the Oktyabrsky District in a peasant family. He graduated from the rural seven-year school on the second year of the Great Patriotic War. The boy had to help the adults who remained on the work in the fields and farms.

This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev at the meeting on the issue of increasing agricultural production and developing the export potential of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, which was held today in Kazan. The event was attended by Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Alexey Kuzmitsky, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, heads of regions of the Volga Federal District, heads of regional AIC and key companies of the industry.

Every week we write about people who have started their businesses in the countryside, family farms and young entrepreneurs. One of these people is Radik Nurgaliyev from Tetyushsky District. He was born and grew up in the Maliye Atriasy, there he received the first lessons of peasant labor. Today he is the general director of Agrofirm Nur LLC, which has become one of the leading agricultural enterprises.

Еру 21st of February First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dzhambulat Khatuov held a meeting in Kazan with the heads of regional AIC, heads of regional agro-chemical services, state commissions and subordinated agencies on land reclamation. Participants of the event discussed the main directions of development of animal husbandry, crop production and amelioration of agricultural land in the regions of the Volga Federal District.

In Kazan was held one of meetings of the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia with regional AIC departments. Its purpose was to discuss the issues of state support for farmers of the Volga Federal District and the development of rural areas and small business forms. The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jambulat Hatuov, Deputy Ministers - Oksana Lut and Elena Fastova, representatives of the agricultural departments of the Volga Federal District.

In Tatarstan, the first stage of the intellectual game “Novice Farmer” among pupils of schools and institutions of higher and vocational education of the Republic of Tatarstan was completed. It was organized by the Tatarstan Regional Branch of the Russian Union of Rural Youth with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan State Agrarian University. This event is organised for Development of skills in business planning in agriculture, collecting and analyzing information, making management decisions and teamworking.

On February 20, the XXXII session of the Council of the Muslyumovsky municipal district of the third convocation took place. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, General Director of the Network Company Society Ilshat Fardiyev, General Director of the Chelny Bread Society, Rafael Yunusov, as well as deputies of the district council and the district public took part in it.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic Marat Akhmetov on 20 February praised the activities of the Aktanysh residents at a meeting of the Council of the Aktanyshsky District Municipality dedicated to the results of work in 2018 and tasks for 2019.

On February 20, a plenary session of the XXX Congress of the Association of Peasant Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives of Russia (APFAC) was held in Moscow. The delegation of Tatarstan  is represented by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic Rishat Khabipov, the chairman of the Association of Farmers and Peasants of the Republic of Tatarstan Kamiyar Baitemirov and 26 farmers from the republic.
