April 9, one of the first commission inspections of the readiness of agricultural machinery for spring field work in 2019 was held in the Arsky district.
The Commission was headed by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Titov. Head of the technical re-equipment department of the Ministry Yan Kletenkov, head of the regional agricultural department Renat Gatiyatov, head of the state technical inspection department of the Arsky municipal district Gabdelhak Kasimov, head of the regional branch of the Rosselkhoztsentr Ruzal Murtazine also participated in the commission’s work.
During the event, special attention was paid to the safe operation of equipment, briefings on safety and medical inspection of machine operators. In general, the farms prepared for the spring field work at the required level and the inspection was successful.
During his visit to the Arsky district, Nikolay Titov also met with the heads of agricultural organizations, they discussed the main issues of the sowing campaign in 2019. The first deputy minister was reminded of the effective operation of agricultural machines, and warned about the consequences of improperly configured equipment, noting that it reduces productivity by up to 40%, increases grain losses, leads to excessive fuel consumption and premature failure of machines and units, and finally it significantly reduces the yield.
The special commissions of the Ministry will check all the farms of the republic from April 8 to April 12, and assess readiness for spring field work. A competition has been announced in the republic among organizations of the agro-industrial complex for the best readiness for spring field work. Winners will be awarded by the Ministry.
