The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan pays great attention to the development of small farms in the countryside. In the peasant farms and personal subsidiary farms of the republic a significant part of agricultural products is produced. But the most important thing is that farmers are engaged in their favorite business, which brings a stable income.

On July 6, the II Sports Day of Cooperators and Farmers of Tatarstan took place in Arsk on the International Day of Cooperators.

Since June 20, in two leading universities of the republic, supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan - Kazan State Agrarian University and Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after N.E. Bauman, was launched a reception campaign.

The agro-industrial exhibition “Field Day in Tatarstan - 2019”, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, became a unique demonstration platform and also combined a rich business program, becoming a unique place for holding round tables and business negotiations. For the participants of the event, these days were not only interesting, but also fruitful, yielding results in the form of concluded contracts and agreements.

In the Alkeyevsky district of Tatarstan, a pilot project "Young Cooperators" is being implemented. Representatives of cooperatives engage in the production of agricultural products with the subsequent sale. This was reported by the rector of the Kazan Cooperative Institute Alsou Nabiyeva at the exhibition “Field Day in Tatarstan” organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan in Laishevsky district.

On July 3, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Talgat Tagirzyanov held a round table on the theme “Updating the fleet and measures aimed at improving the quality of the equipment supplied to the agro-industrial complex” .

The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia launched the annual creative contest for the media, journalists and bloggers "My Land - Russia". Since its establishment in 2014, more than 15 thousand information projects from all regions of our country took part in  the competition, aimed at popularizing the Russian village and drawing attention to its current problems. Hundreds of them have been awarded with cash prizes.
