A pilot project is being implemented in Alkeyevsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan to train young cooperators
In the Alkeyevsky district of Tatarstan, a pilot project "Young Cooperators" is being implemented. Representatives of cooperatives engage in the production of agricultural products with the subsequent sale. This was reported by the rector of the Kazan Cooperative Institute Alsou Nabiyeva at the exhibition “Field Day in Tatarstan” organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan in Laishevsky district.
“A pilot project“ Young Cooperators ”is being implemented in Alkeyevskiy district, and in its terms - full-cycle cooperation. The project is implemented jointly with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. It all started with the topic of entrepreneurship and grew into cooperative entrepreneurship, self-employment for young people and such a project, ”said Alsu Nabiyeva.
The rector of the institute explained that 14-year-olds with an “entrepreneurial spirit” who are registered as self-employed are involved in the project. Having reached the 16th anniversary, they can turn from self-employed into shareholders of a cooperative. “At the age of 17, they go to university and continue to work in a cooperative, studying by correspondence. And at the age of 22, they can already become mentors for potential 14-year-old self-employed. This is the full cycle cooperation within the “Young Cooperators” project, ”she added.
According to Alsou Nabiyeva, currently 70 people are involved in the project, four youth cooperatives and one marketing cooperative have been created. “They produce agricultural products and implement them through the consumer society of student cooperation, which is located in Kazan. We accept products. We sell dairy, meat and beekeeping products. For example, there is a cooperative that produces grain, and its used to feed animals in another cooperative, there is such an interchange, ”she clarified.
The interlocutor of the news agency stressed that youth cooperatives are planned to be created in each region of Tatarstan. “If we create a young cooperative in every municipal district, then, accordingly, the number of those involved in the project will increase. But we also want to increase the number of self-employed, ”she noted.
