5 July 2019, Friday

Since June 20, in two leading universities of the republic, supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan - Kazan State Agrarian University and Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after N.E. Bauman, was launched a reception campaign.

Guzel Fassakhova, secretary of the admissions committee of the Agrarian University, said that in 2019 the university was opened a set of 31 training areas on the basis of four training departments: Faculty of Agronomy, Faculty of Forestry and Ecology, Institute of Mechanization and Technical Service, Institute of Economics.

There are a lot of young people from Baltasinsky, Sarmanovsky, Kukmorsky, Arsky, Apastovsky and other districts. There are applicants from the Orenburg, Samara, Kirov, Kurgan and Sverdlovsk regions, as well as from the republics of Komi, Dagestan and Mordovia. Guys came from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

The Veterinary Academy is recruiting for the faculties of Veterinary Medicine, Biotechnology and Standardization. Among the applicants there are guys not only from Kazan, but from all over the republic: Kukmorsky, Zelenodolsky, Nizhnekamsk, Baltasinsky, Vysokogorsky and other areas. There are quite a few of the applicants from the republics of Bashkortostan, Chuvashia and Udmurtia, the Samara, Kirov, Ulyanovsk, Tyumen and Kaliningrad regions, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area. The guys came from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Cameroon. At the preparatory courses at the Academy, they have already learned Russian.

The entrant Elizaveta Nesterova from Vysokogorsky district chose the specialty "Veterinary". After graduating from the Academy, she plans to return to Vysokogorsky District and open her own veterinary clinic. Karina Khamidullina from the Bavlinsky District also chose veterinary medicine for herself, because she decided to follow in the footsteps of her grandfather, who had worked all her life as a veterinarian. Love for animals, instilled in childhood in his native village, prompted the choice of a future specialty of Salavat Sabirov from the Baltasinsky district.

Farida Arslanova from Verkhneuslonsky district has already managed to participate in the "Novice Farmer" competition. “I understood that it was for me, and decided to enter the Agrarian university. By the advice of the director of her school, she chose the direction of “Agribusiness”. And Vitaly had already graduated from the Zainsky Polytechnic College and decided to get a higher education in absentia. He submitted documents to several areas at once: agroengineering, technical systems and agribusiness. “I like working with equipment. I will work in an agricultural company in my native district, ”the young man says with pride in his voice.

For such children who want to return after work to work and live in the countryside, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan provides special targeted places to get to which you can contact the Department of Agriculture and Food in your area. This is not only an opportunity to get a higher education, but also a guarantee of employment, which today is very important for graduates. In addition, since 2014, the mechanism of motivated target training “Program 50/50” has been revived, when a student becomes a grant holder of an agricultural enterprise. The sense of the program is that the student receives a worthy scholarship - 10 thousand rubles, 5 thousand of which are paid from the republican budget as state support measures for the staff of the agro-industrial complex, and 5 thousand rubles are from the agricultural enterprise where the student will return for employment after studies.

In addition, for young professionals who came to work in the village there are “lifting” in the amount of 300 thousand rubles, a surcharge in the first year of work in the amount of the minimum wage to the basic salary and a subsidy for the purchase or construction of housing.

“Agriculture is one of the most important branches of the republic’s economy. For providing agricultural enterprises with highly qualified personnel the system of training specialists has been created. It attracts young people who have previously decided about their professional path, who want to work in agriculture, who are able and willing to organize efficient production of agricultural products, equip and develop the village, ”notes First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Nikolay Titov.
