Tatarstan and the Czech Republic have great potential for the development of cooperation in agriculture. This was stated by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on February 4 at a meeting with a delegation led by the Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic Miroslav Toman. The meeting was held in the Kazan Kremlin. The meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Russian Federation Vitezslav Pivonka and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
Today at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, a reporting meeting of representatives of consumer societies and cooperatives was held following the results of the work of Tatpotrebsoyuz in 2019.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov became chairman of the Council of the Tatar Consumer Union. Such a decision was made today at the reporting annual meeting of the Union of Consumer Cooperation Organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
From February 12 to 14, the Tatarstan Agro-Industrial Forum and a specialized exhibition will be held with the participation of over 3,000 representatives of the agro-industrial complex from 300 organizations and enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian regions.
More than 200 delegates will attend the event. There are 100 Tatarstanis among them, representatives of 50 subjects of Russia and 23 countries of the world. In particular, from the CIS countries, Germany, Egypt, the Congo, India, Spain, Lithuania, Morocco, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Northern Macedonia, Northern Ireland, Serbia, Senegal, Slovenia, Turkey and Estonia. The congress will be attended by 25 international and more than 20 federal speakers.
On February 3, Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic Miroslav Toman, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, visited the Maysky greenhouse located in Zelenodolsky district of Tatarstan.
Today, the Czech-Tatarstan business forum was held in Kazan with the participation of 20 companies of the Czech Republic and about 50 Tatarstan enterprises focused on the agro-industrial complex.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan pays great attention to the development of small and medium enterprises in rural areas. Today in every district there are people who have opened their own business and successfully developed it. One of them is the Mishkin family from the village of Lagerka in the Cheremshansky district. In 2015, they received a grant from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan in the amount of 200 thousand rubles. In the same year, the household received a milking machine from the district.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan informs that in 2020 the All-Russian Union of Public Associations "Youth Socio-Economic Initiatives" holds the All-Russian contest of youth authoring and educational projects "My country - my Russia."
