The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan is accepting applications for a subsidy to stimulate increased production of potatoes and open-field vegetables grown by individuals who operate private farms and apply the special tax regime "Tax on Professional Income."
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the second round of applications from private household plot owners, scheduled for October 14–24, 2025, for partial reimbursement of expenses for raising dairy cows, female goats, and female goats over one year old. This application is calculated at 6,300 rubles per cow and 1,000 rubles per female goat and female goats over one year old.
Traditional agricultural fairs resumed in the republic on September 13 at 14 sites in Kazan, two sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Zelenodolsk district, three sites in the Nizhnekamsk district, and at varying intervals in municipal districts. Participants enjoyed discussion platforms, thematic sessions, and the exchange of practical experiences and successful cases from various regions and countries. Special attention was given to visiting sessions: one in the Mamadysh District on rural entrepreneurship, one in the Yelabuga District on rural tourism, and one in the Sabinsky District, where youth policy issues in rural areas were discussed.
The "Russia – Land of Opportunity" presidential platform has launched a new competition for agricultural leaders, "Leaders of the Agro-Industrial Complex." The competition, co-organized by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, was launched as part of the "Golden Autumn 2025" agricultural exhibition. The application process will be open on the competition website until November 9.
From the start of the harvest (July 15) to early October of this year, specialists at the Tatarstan branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "TsOK AIC" have conducted over 1,000 tests of agricultural products, including grain and its processed products, for the presence of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), which is 1.4 times higher than the results for the same period last year.
