For the first time since 80s 170,000 tons of poultry have been produced during a year in Tatarstan, which is 104% in comparison with the level of 2013, as reported Director General of “Tatptitseprom” Mars Aliev.
Tatarstan farmers are planning to increase the agricultural production output by 30 %. According to the words of the Chairman of the Framers and Farm Households Association Kamiyar Baitemirov, a regular congress of farmers, farm households and agricultural cooperatives takes place on January 30, 2015.
In the Republic of Tatarstan, it is expected to use about 14,000 trucks, 6,000 drill machines and 6,000 rippers during the sowing campaign. Poultry breeding in Russia is one of the most fast developing branch of farm animal production. Over 60% of poultry is produced by modern agricultural enterprises. Currently poultry production is 26.7 kg per capita. On the domestic poultry market self-sufficiency has already been achieved, the import share was only 10% last year.
For the first time in the history of Russia the record crop of rape has been got. Rape is one of the most important crop for oil and fodder protein production to satisfy needs of cattle breeding. According to the recent data the rape yield has made up 1.45 million tons, which is by 4.4% more than it was last year (1.39 million tons in 2013). The average crop yield of rape in Russia is 13.9 dt/ha, which is also higher than it was last year (12.4 dt/ha in 2013).
