Implementation of the program on complete overhaul of dairy byres and construction of silage-and-hay trenches is going on in the republic

With the aim to switch agricultural animals to winter stable keeping in farm households of Baltasi municipal district, repairing and construction of animal breeding facilities, namely dairy byres, silage-hay trenches and potato storehouses, is being carried out.

These works are being carried out in accordance with the republican program on the complete overhaul of diary byres, potato storehouses and construction of silage-hay trenches.

In 2015 20 diary byres, 3 potato storehouses and 5 silage-hay trenches in 14 farm households of Baltasi municipal district were included into the program.

By the current date, the complete overhaul of dairy byres for 100 cows has been 81% completed, the overhaul of dairy byres for 200 cows has been 68% done, 67% of potato storehouses’ repairing has been done and 41% of construction work concerning silage-hay trenches has been fulfilled.
