Grains and pulses have been harvested on 62% of lands in Tatarstan

As of August 21 2015, 2,075,000 tons of grains have been milled from 978,400 ha in the republic. The average crop yield is 21.2 dt/ha.

The biggest areas have been harvested in Buinsk and Aznakaevo municipal districts – 37,700 and 35,900 ha correspondingly.

The leaders in the average crop yield are Aktanysh and Baltasi municipal districts – 30.4 dt/ha.

484,600 ha with winter crops, 88,300 ha with spring wheat, 306,500 ha with barley, 54,300 ha with pea have been thrashed in the republic. 1,050,200 tons of winter crops, 179,000 tons of spring wheat, 671,300 tons of barley, 83,900 tons of pea have been milled.

Simultaneously with harvesting Tatarstan farmers are sowing winter crops and preserving forage. As of August 21 2015, 159,000 ha have been sowed with winter crops,1,116,900 tons of forage have been preserved.
