Today, the Ministry held a meeting on the issues of working with the domestic Smena-9 cross and obtaining a comprehensive environmental permit by enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by the Director of the Department of Livestock and Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergei Voskresensky. Since the beginning of this year, the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Grain Quality Assessment Center" in the Republic of Tatarstan has confirmed compliance with the necessary requirements of 7 batches of food wheat stored in sleeves and intended for placement in the intervention fund. The total mass of the batches was 7.5 thousand tons. Based on the results of the studies, 7 quality and safety certificates were issued, confirming that the bulk of the grain examined - over 90% - is classified as class 4 (food wheat).
