Almost 1.5 million eggs were sold at agricultural fairs
On September 9, traditional agricultural fairs began in the republic. They take place at 14 sites in the city of Kazan, 2 sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Zelenodolsk municipal district, as well as at 3 sites in Nizhnekamsk and with varying frequency in 26 municipal districts.
Based on the results of 9 fairs, agricultural products were sold for a total amount of 716.0 million rubles. Over the entire period of the fairs, 1 million 493 thousand eggs were purchased, almost 7 thousand tons of vegetables, including 4,306.1 tons of potatoes, 1,522, 2 tons of onions, 439.5 tons of bottled milk, 501.2 tons of sugar, 697 tons of meat, including 402.3 tons of beef.
35 municipal districts and 8,578 transport units were involved in holding the fairs.
The fairs will last until December 23.
