The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reports that for 4 months of this year, the volume of exports of agricultural products of the republic amounted to 105.6 million dollars. The main share of exports falls on oil and fat products - 71.6 %, in second place are other agricultural products (15.9%), in third – food and processing industry (9.2%).

“Based on the results of the first half of 2020, Russia supplied agricultural products to foreign markets with a total value of more than USD 13 billion. This is $ 2 billion, or 18% more compared to the same period last year, ” said Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko.

The total volume of Halal products manufactured in the Republic of Tatarstan is more than 7 billion rubles, this is more than 50 manufacturers, including 18 export-oriented companies, 5 of them have the International Halal Certificate.

On January 23, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted an expanded meeting on the results of the work of the Rosselkhoznadzor Office and the State Veterinary Service in 2019.

In Tatarstan, three export-oriented companies received financial support from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. The total amount of compensation for part of the cost of transporting products amounted to about 27.3 million rubles.

This was announced at a meeting at the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, which was chaired by Deputy Minister Oksana Lut. The development of the oil and fat industry was discussed. The meeting participants stated that the products of this industry are one of the key positions in Russian food exports. In accordance with the passport of the federal project "Export of agricultural products", its supply to foreign markets will increase to $ 8.6 billion by 2024.

In January-March of the current year, Tatarstan exported products of the agro-industrial complex for $ 36.8 million. “This is $ 1.4 million or 4% more than for the same period in 2018,” said Dmitry Yashin, head of the food market development department at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, reminding that targets for increasing the volume of exports from the republic of agricultural products were doubled - to $ 360 million by 2024.
