Today, on April 26, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan hosted the presentation of a book about Nikolay Envald, a talented engineer, a republican leader who left a significant mark in the history of the Republic of Tatarstan. Nikolay Grigorievich Envald for many years headed the association "Tatselkhoztekhnika", was the first deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of the TASSR - the chairman of the State Agrarian Industrial Committee of the TASSR. He has cultivated a lot of skilled initiative managers, inquisitive technical scientists, who continue making a significant contribution to the development of the Republic of Tatarstan. The documentary and journalistic publication was prepared with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, and is composed of the memories of colleagues, friends and relatives, many of whom have gathered today at the Ministry.

On April 25, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the state budgetary institution “Competence Center for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan” held a training seminar for accountants and chairmen from 29 municipal districts of the republic on accounting and reporting features in agricultural consumer cooperatives of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On April 24, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov met with a delegation from Iran led by the chairman of one of the largest Iranian companies Daric Investment Group Mohammad Reza Zonuzi Motlag. Also, other officials of the company and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the official meeting.

Today, on April 24, the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan took part in the opening ceremony of the International Exhibition of Halal Industry "Russia Halal Expo 2019". The Minister welcomed the guests and expressed the hope that the manufacturing companies participating in the exhibition will be able to further strengthen mutually beneficial ties and establish useful business contacts. He wished the guests and participants of the exhibition productive work and success in business.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019 for the development of agriculture approved the following program activities: - overhaul of 155 cowsheds, 68 machine-tractor parks, 129 grain-current farms with total funding 1.2 billion rubles. As part of the overhaul of the facilities, repairs will be made to the roof, walls, window openings, floors and a number of other works; - construction of 12 new barns with a capacity of 140 to 390 heads, 105 silage and hay trenches with a total funding of 600 million rubles to create 1,598 additional cattle places for milk production, as well as to store 132 thousand tons of silage and haylage.

Today, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Nikolay Titov spoke at the session “National Halal Standards in Cooperation with Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries” at the Russia-Islamic World: KazanSummit 2019 .
