Gross grain yield exceeded 2.8 million tons in Tatarstan

As of August 25, 2017, 2,891,400 tons of grain have been milled in the republic at the average crop yield of 35.9 dt/ha. 805,200 ha with grains and pulses have been thrashed (55%).

The biggest grain yield is in Zainsk municipal district – 122,700 tons, the average crop yield is 50.1 dt/ha there. In Buinsk municipal district 114,600 tons of grain have been milled at the average crop yield of 37.7 dt/ha, in sarmanovo – 110,100 tons (50 dt/ha), Chistopol – 104,300 tons (33 dt/ha), Aznakaevo – 102,000 tons (39.9 dt/ha).

66% of fields have been cleared in Chistopol municipal district, 64% - in Zainsk, 63% - in Alkeevo, 62% - in Nurlat and Apastovo, 61% - in Alekseevskoe, 60% - in Leninogorsk and Laishevo municipal districts.

Alongside with harvesting, sowing of winter crops keeps going on in different districts of the republic. 167,700 ha of fields have been sown with winter crops already, where 74,400 ha have been sown with winter rye and 86,600 ha – with winter wheat.
