Today, the Ministry announced the results of the "Grains of Poetry" poetry recitation competition, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of Tatar poet, literary critic, and publicist Gabdulla Tukay and the 120th anniversary of the birth of Tatar poet, journalist, and war correspondent Musa Jalil. The central themes of the participants' poetry were village life, agricultural work, natural conditions, animals, plants, the daily life and customs of villagers, and agricultural professions.
The event was attended by Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; Andrey Shutov, managing shareholder of KOMOS GRUPP LLC; and Vladislav Usanov, Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Lenar Garipov, welcoming the competition participants, expressed gratitude to the teachers and parents for their support of the young talents and their assistance with their preparations.
Vladislav Usanov noted that the competition aims to preserve the cultural heritage of our country. "Because poetry and our great ancestors, such as Gabdulla Tukay and Musa Jalil, are the legacy we must preserve. And if you are participating in this competition, it means you are part of our cultural heritage, the cultural code of Tatarstan and Russia," he assured.
Andrey Shutov said: "The competition is being held in several regions of the Volga Federal District: Ufa, Perm, and Izhevsk. People gather and recite poetry; this is a new socio-cultural phenomenon, and I really want to see it develop," he emphasized.
Adilya Nakipova won among students in grades 1–4, Safiya Kamolova won among students in grades 5–8, and Angelina Shishkova won among students in grades 9–11.
Milena Viktorova won in the "Students of Secondary and Higher Education Institutions" category, and Ilzira Khairullina won among workers in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Alina Yunusova won the "For the Complexity of a Poetry Work" prize, Tatyana Fedotova won the "Golden Pen" prize, Ulyana Bakanova won the best original interpretation, and Miroslav Anoshin was named the most charming performer.
