Today, the International Agro-Industrial Trade and Purchasing Session for export-oriented companies in the Russian agro-industrial complex concluded as part of the 17th International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum."

Participants included 23 foreign buyers and distributors from Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Azerbaijan, Oman, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Egypt, as well as 78 Russian companies from the Republic of Tatarstan, Tula Oblast, Orenburg Oblast, Perm Krai, Ulyanovsk Oblast, Vologda Oblast, Kirov Oblast, the Republic of Mordovia, and Arkhangelsk Oblast.

Over the course of the two-day session, over 500 direct B2B business negotiations were held with foreign buyers and purchasers, as well as business talks with representatives of companies from priority Islamic countries interested in importing agricultural products.

Participants also visited major agricultural enterprises in the Republic of Tatarstan, including the Kazan Dairy Plant, one of the country's largest dairy processing plants, and the Kazan Fat Plant, an oil and fat industry enterprise producing vegetable oils and processed products.

The international agricultural trade and procurement session enabled the rapid establishment of direct business contacts and the conclusion of preliminary agreements in support of the national "Export" project, directly contributing to the diversification of export destinations and stimulating the entry of both traditional and new high-value-added products into new markets.
