The Ministry set up a memorial stand for the Victory Day.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan set up a memorial stand in anticipation of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It features stories of front-line soldiers, home front workers, and participants in the Great Patriotic War.
With the onset of the war, the importance of Tatarstan, like other rear regions of the country, in supplying food to the army and the population increased significantly. During the four years of the war, the republic's agricultural sector produced and supplied the state with 131 million pounds of grain, 39 million pounds of potatoes and vegetables, 56 million pounds of meat, 200 million liters of milk, tens of thousands of pounds of butter, lard, honey, hay, and other products.
As a reminder, as a sign of deep respect for the defenders of the Fatherland and home front workers, 2026 has been declared the Year of Military and Labor Valor in the Republic of Tatarstan.
